Project objectives 

● The main objective of the project is developing technical textiles functionalized with bioactive natural compounds, for the medical and cosmetic fields..

 

Specific objectives 

● Developing knitted textiles optimized and functionalized through the application of specific micro-encapsulation technologies based on collagen hydrolysate and active substances.;

● Designing, developing and testing bioactive knitted products with high added value;

● Developing R&D activity and future collaboration of consortium members.

 

Stages

I. Evaluation and diagnosis of technologies for developing bioactive technical textiles;

II. Design of bioactive technical textile articles - experimental models and
execution, technological evaluation, selection, knitted structures/articles and
bioactive cosmetic/medical formulations;

III. Development of bioactive technical textiles (prototype testing) and
elaboration of presentation/instruction manual for bioactive technical textiles.
